Name of two cities in Palestine. (1) A city (Joshua 15:41) of the tribe of Juda "in the plains", that is, the territory below Joppa between the mountains and the Mediterranean. Its site is uncertain. (2) A city (Joshua 19:27) of Aser near Zabulon, supposed to be Tell Daæouk, southeast of Akka.
