1 καὶ οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Δαυιδ οἱ τεχθέντες αὐτῷ ἐν Χεβρων ὁ πρωτότοκος Αμνων τῇ Αχινααμ τῇ Ιεζραηλίτιδι ὁ δεύτερος Δανιηλ τῇ Αβιγαια τῇ Καρμηλίᾳ 2 ὁ τρίτος Αβεσσαλωμ υἱὸς Μωχα θυγατρὸς Θολμαι βασιλέως Γεδσουρ ὁ τέταρτος Αδωνια υἱὸς Αγγιθ 3 ὁ πέμπτος Σαφατια τῆς Αβιταλ ὁ ἕκτος Ιεθρααμ τῇ Αγλα γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ 4 ἓξ ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐν Χεβρων καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἐκεῖ ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἑξάμηνον καὶ τριάκοντα καὶ τρία ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ 5 καὶ οὗτοι ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ Σαμαα Σωβαβ Ναθαν καὶ Σαλωμων τέσσαρες τῇ Βηρσαβεε θυγατρὶ Αμιηλ 6 καὶ Ιβααρ καὶ Ελισαμα καὶ Ελιφαλετ 7 καὶ Ναγε καὶ Ναφαγ καὶ Ιανουε 8 καὶ Ελισαμα καὶ Ελιαδα καὶ Ελιφαλετ ἐννέα 9 πάντες υἱοὶ Δαυιδ πλὴν τῶν υἱῶν τῶν παλλακῶν καὶ Θημαρ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν | 1 And these are the names of David’s sons. At Hebron, Achinoam the Jezrahelite gave birth to his first-born, Amnon, Abigail of Carmel to Daniel, 2 Maacha daughter of Tholmai, king of Gessur, to Absalom, Aggith to Adonias, 3 Abital to Saphatias, and Egla, that was also one of his wives, to Jethraham. 4 Thus six sons were born to him during the seven years and six months of his reign at Hebron; during his thirty-three years at Jerusalem 5 Bethsabee, daughter of Ammiel, bore him four sons, Simmaa, Sobab, Nathan and Solomon; 6 he also begot Jebaar, Elisama, 7 (Elipheleth), Noge, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 (Elisama), Eliada and Elipheleth, nine in all.[1] 9 All these, with their sister Thamar, were David’s children, and he had others by his concubines. | 1 David vero hos habuit filios, qui ei nati sunt in Hebron: primogenitum Amnon ex Achinoam Jezrahelitide, secundum Daniel de Abigail Carmelitide, 2 tertium Absalom filium Maacha filiæ Tholmai regis Gessur, quartum Adoniam filium Aggith, 3 quintum Saphathiam ex Abital, sextum Jethraham de Egla uxore sua. 4 Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. 10 υἱοὶ Σαλωμων Ροβοαμ Αβια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιωσαφατ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 11 Ιωραμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Οχοζια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιωας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 12 Αμασιας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αζαρια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιωαθαν υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 13 Αχαζ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Εζεκιας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μανασσης υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 14 Αμων υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιωσια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 15 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιωσια πρωτότοκος Ιωαναν ὁ δεύτερος Ιωακιμ ὁ τρίτος Σεδεκια ὁ τέταρτος Σαλουμ 16 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιωακιμ Ιεχονιας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σεδεκιας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 17 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιεχονι{A-}ασιρ Σαλαθιηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 18 Μελχιραμ καὶ Φαδαιας καὶ Σανεσαρ καὶ Ιεκεμια καὶ Ωσαμω καὶ Δενεθι 19 καὶ υἱοὶ Σαλαθιηλ Ζοροβαβελ καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ υἱοὶ Ζοροβαβελ Μοσολλαμος καὶ Ανανια καὶ Σαλωμιθ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν 20 καὶ Ασουβε καὶ Οολ καὶ Βαραχια καὶ Ασαδια καὶ Ασοβαεσδ πέντε 21 καὶ υἱοὶ Ανανια Φαλλετια καὶ Ισαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ορνα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αβδια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σεχενια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 22 καὶ υἱὸς Σεχενια Σαμαια καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαια Χαττους καὶ Ιωηλ καὶ Μαρι καὶ Νωαδια καὶ Σαφαθ ἕξ 23 καὶ υἱοὶ Νωαδια Ελιθεναν καὶ Εζεκια καὶ Εζρικαμ τρεῖς 24 καὶ υἱοὶ Ελιθεναν Οδουια καὶ Ελιασιβ καὶ Φαλαια καὶ Ακουν καὶ Ιωαναν καὶ Δαλαια καὶ Ανανι ἑπτά | 10 From Solomon, the succession went from father to son, through Roboam, Abia, Asa, Josaphat, 11 Joram, Ochozias, Joas, 12 Amasias, Azarias, Joathan, 13 Achaz, Ezechias, Manasses 14 and Amon to Josias. 15 Josias had four sons, Johanan, Joakim, Sedecias and Sellum. 16 Joakim had two sons, Jechonias and Sedecias, 17 and Jechonias was father of Asir, Salathiel, 18 Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser, Jecemia, Sama and Nadabia. 19 Phadaia again had two sons, Zorobabel and Semei, and Zorobabel was father of Mosollam, Hananias and a daughter, Salomith; 20 besides five others, Hasaba, Ohol, Barachias, Hasadias, and Josabhesed. 21 From Hananias, through Phaltias, Jeseias, Raphaia, Arnan, Obdia, and Sechenias, 22 came Semeia, the father of six sons, Hattus, Jegaal, Baria, Naaria … and Saphat. 23 Naaria had three sons, Elioenai, Ezechias and Ezricam, 24 and of these Elioenai had seven sons, Oduia, Eliasub, Pheleia, Accub, Johanan, Dalaia and Anani. | 10 Filius autem Salomonis, Roboam: cujus Abia filius genuit Asa. [1] Some doubt attaches to the names given in brackets; they are not given in II Kg. 14-16, and it looks as if a scribe’s error had in two cases repeated a name instead of writing in a fresh one.
